A Birthday Meeting

That is  my Daughter Lynn on the left and daughter Andee on the right...

and that's me taking their picture on Wednesday the 27th, Lynn's birthday.

Andee called me earlier in the week and said, mom, let's get Lynn to meet us, maybe in Raleigh, and we will do something for her birthday.

Well, how about meeting in Wake Forest at Cici's Pizza, I asked, thinking of myself and my chance to eat all the pizza I want.

Had I known early on that I was marrying a man who didn't like pizza, well that might have changed things. (don't tell Poppy I said that) :)

So we did meet in Wake Forest and darn it, I meant to get a picture of the three of us and all those plates of pizza.

and of all things, there was a Dollar Tree store just around the corner.

What is it with these girls and trying on Dollar Tree sun glasses, and didn't we do this same thing the last time we met in Wake Forest? I think so.

Anyhow, it was fun and it has been ages since I've laughed so much.

The day passed way too fast. I didn't want to leave them and come home, but I did.

Guess I had better get a move on. It's warm and sunny and beautiful outside today, and before I can get out there in is, I've got to go to Walmart.  :(

Thank you for stopping by.

Love,
Henny

  1. Awww...a belated Happy Birthday to Lynn. Does she still blog? Lynn and Andee both look great and look as if they both are having fun! If we'd seen a picture of you I know we could have said the same about you. If you all ever come back up this way again, please, let me know so we can get together again. xo

    back of my head...so l can see..where l've been..! :).

Well...it's just gone three in the afternoon over here,
suns still out, warm and lovely..just taken in some
washing..all nice and dry..I'm gonna settle down and
watch a couple repeats of 'Bizarre Foods America'...

  21. What are the odds! Like you, my mother is a virgo, and like you, her youngest is an Aries! March 27, no less--
I bet they're even the same year, 1983? My little sister, the birthday girl, is coming by tomorrow so that her parents can enjoy her. But she has a date with her big sisters on Tuesday-- and you know what, hanging out at the dollar store sounds fun with the three of us together.
Congratulations on having more sunshine. We're getting snow...
    Blessings!

  35. There is no fun like girl time together! How wonderful that you got to enjoy such a special fun-filled day with your daughters celebrating the birthday girl! Sweet sweet pictures of your daughters, and I love the fun picture at the Dollar Tree! It must have been hard to say goodbye to them. It would be hard to not get to eat pizza very often, but we love our men anyway! Mine can't abide an onion, and that was hard on me as I love onions. Enjoyed your post today, hope you had a lovely day outside in the beautiful weather :)
