Got the back porch washed and clean again and I do hope we've seen the last of the pollen.
Washed out all these pots and pans too, getting ready to sit out here and snap green beans from the garden. :) All I need is the garden planted!
The worst part of cleaning the porch is unwinding that heavy hose and dragging it around the side of the house and up the steps...then back again!
Spraying and watching the pollen disappear was the fun part. Afraid the little table and chairs are getting pretty worn.
The new (to me) green flowered comforter came from a thrift store. Darn it, it's not hanging straight...I'll fix that!
Eli says it feels nice and clean.
And now my picture of the day...
Where I found Dumperoo. Kitty cat fabric. Thank you for visiting.
Love,
Henny

I love little closed-in porches. They are so cozy. I see Eli likes it, too. Dumperoo is in the most comfortable position for a cat. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteI love a screened in porch. I wish I had one! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
I do love cats like Dumperoo, makes my heart go pitter patter. Eli is too precious. Anywhere you want to sleep Eli, you just say so and it's your place. I do love screened in porches. Things are looking good.
ReplyDeleteOh that picture of Dumperoo all curled up on your stash of fabric is just so cute. I do like your "new" comforter. I hope you get a chance to lie down for a rest now and then on that day bed.
ReplyDeleteHenny I love your screened porch, so inviting !
ReplyDeleteBuy yourself one of those expandable hoses....I love mine, and when the water is turned off it shrinks back down to nothing. Far better than lugging those vinyl/rubber hoses around.
Pretty Eli he's always so clean, and Dumperoo has found himself the perfect little hidey hole :)
Try not to push yourself too hard sweet lady.
Hugs,
~Jo
I thought you were taking it easy! Love the porch.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a screened porch! The mosquitos are bad here, so we can't sit put in the evenings.
ReplyDeleteI think the pollen is pretty much gone from the patio now. I'll wash the furniture down tomorrow and then put on the oil cloth table cloths.
Henny, your porch looks so comfy and cozy, I'd like to come right now and sit on it with you! Everything looks just great. Take it easy dragging those heavy hoses, etc. we don't want you to yank your back out of shape! You're quite the perfectionist....that's why your place looks so good all the time! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love your back porch. It is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI love your porch! It looks so welcoming! I'd love to sit there and help you shell peas or snap beans. Can't think of a better way to spend a summer afternoon!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace
Your kitty cat has the right idea. Just roll yourself up and take a nap.
ReplyDeleteThat's one comfortable looking porch that you have there-----not to mention very, very clean! The thrift shop comforter is a perfect match for the chairs you have there----how lucky is that a for a thrift store find?
ReplyDeleteI do hope you didn't do the dragging around and up and down and around again of the hose yourself?!
You have the sweetest animals! Love that porch. Don't work too hard with that back! Take care! Nancy
ReplyDeleteLove your porch, if I had one like it I would be out there all the time in nice weather:)
ReplyDeleteDon't overdo it with that back of yours!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe porch is looking wonderful, but you do need to take care. Eli is loving his new bed and Dumperoo has found the perfect place for a sleep.
ReplyDeleteYour spring-cleaned porch is looking very inviting. I see that Eli agrees!
ReplyDeleteI have teeny tiny beans on my plants. I always think baby beans are the cutest things in the garden. Unfortunately I think they are going to be ready to eat next week -- when we will be away. Rats!
Aw! The porch looks wonderfully cozy. No wonder the cute pets like to snooze there. I would, too!
ReplyDeleteI could quite happily curl up with Eli, Our pollen season is not too far away now, hopefully the prevailing wind will blow it away down the valley.
ReplyDeleteWe're hoping to see the last of the pollen too. Love your picture of the day.
ReplyDeleteThe porch looks great!!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Lynn
What a darn comfy looking porch. Think I'll swing by and visit.
