A little explaining and then a little BunBun

For those of you who read my blog and read yesterday's post, thank you for your kind, sweet comments. I have deleted that post. I do not regret sharing that part of my life with you, my friends, but somehow just knowing that post was there troubled me. Now it's in the past again.

Here it is the middle of March already. Normally around these parts we don't have to worry about frost after March 15th. All of a sudden it's time to plant potatoes and onions in the teeny tiny garden...

BunBun has an another appointment with the Vet on Tuesday. Hopefully we will come home with all those matted knots shaved off. We've been playing a lot this week and I've actually held BunBun in my arms every day.

BunBun last spring...

and BunBun now...

We are getting there!

Better get busy. Mostly wanted to explain about the missing post.  Hope you will come back. : )

Love,
Henny

  1. We are managing to get out and do some work in the garden too. Hope all goes well at the vets for Bun Bun.

  2. Is Bun Bun white because it's his winter coat? He sure does look cuddly.

    1. Actually I think it is the mats making him look white. He is in a mess!

  3. What a difference a year has made, his coat is gorgeous !
I've oftentimes removed posts, sometimes an afterthought of sharing family secrets and not so sunshiny bits is best left in it's box.
I could write pages of posts about my childhood and divorce, but somehow I feel it's best laid to rest.
You are such a sweet lady, Henny, it shows through your posts you had a happy childhood, and loved your family dearly.
    Hugs,
    ~Jo

  4. Bun Bun is adorable! I would have a rabbit here but we just are to hot for rabbits. I have heard so many people say " we had a rabbit or rabbits but they died from the heat" ... so I have never got one. I am just itching for planting season. I have planted all I can .. onions, radish seedlings LOL. I am not rushing anything that isnt cold hardy into the garden though Its just to iffy I think. Last year I jumped the gun a bit and was out covering 200 plus seedlings with pots and hay LOL

    1. I wish I had as much space as you do to garden. But then I would need more of your energy. You are such a hard worker! I am excited about gardening season too though!

  5. I think mid March is around the time of the average last frost here too. I am so ready for spring. The last few days have been warm but rainy (at least it melted the snow) but the next three days will be sunny and warmish and so things should start greening up really pretty soon. Although usually we have some bad weather (sometimes even snow) around the end of March when the high school basketball sectionals happen so it won't all be smooth sailing really until April. But the end of winter is certainly in sight and can't come soon enough for me.

Bun Bun has really poofed out over the past year. Is all of that poofiness hair or has he just gotten bigger?

    1. It is like spring here today! BunBun's poofiness is mostly tangled knots. He has grown a lot too!
