Eli's Birthday Bone

Guess who has a birthday today...Baby Eli is one year old!

A birthday bone, candle and all...

I'll just take my bone...

His puppy days went by way too fast. He was just a sweet little ball of fur...

Those little feet...

Eli still loves his bear...

Happy Birthday, Eli!

I get so disgusted with myself! Friends, I am computer illiterate. I am...

Smokey could do a better job.

If I don't respond to a comment or if I don't find an email from any of you on my blog site, or if I do something really stupid, please don't take it personally. You know what confuses me most? Google+ and Google Circles! Just wanted to mention this. :)

I could seriously use another blogging lesson...Lynn, are you out there?

Thank you for visiting. Hope you will come back.

Love,
Henny

  1. Happy Birthday Eli! I can not believe he is already a year old. I don't understand this blogging stuff either. I barley have any idea what I am doing I need to get the book Red was talking about a while back blogging for dummies. Oh well.
    Love you

  2. I had no idea Eli was so young. Isn't that wonderful that he is only one year old. "Happy Birthday, Eli" and many, many more. I think he's the apple of Poppy's eye. :) Deb

  5. I have no idea what those Google things are either, and I don't think it matters. As to responses to comments, I don't expect them. I certainly am not set up to do them on my blog or receive them. I guess I am missing something.
It was fun to see Eli as a puppy. Wow. that was fast! And I have never seen a dog with a Teddy before Eli.

  6. Happy birthday sweet Eli, you are such a handsome gentleman !
I don't expect responses to comments Henny, oftentimes, it's all I can do the write a post, when I receive a comment it makes me smile, but I'm usually going to return the visit and pop on over to your blog, rather than commenting back.
I'm not a Google + blogger, it's all so complicated and have only recently upgraded to a designer template, because I was forced to do so....
Eli, surely loves his Teddy Bear :)

    1. Thank you Jo. Don't know why I was so worried. I'm glad to hear most everyone thinks Google+ is complicated.

  8. Happy Birthday to Eli. Those puppy pictures melt your heart, but then so do those all- grown-up Eli photos. I hope he enjoyed his bone.
I like the peek at your computer desk, especially with the cat keeping the chair warm and your glasses on the table. Now I can picture you sitting right there when I read your blog!

    1. Thank you. I would like a prettier desk instead of that cheap thing from Walmart. But it serves the purpose. :)

  9. Happy Birthday to Eli, he's like a big cuddly teddy bear !
Don't beat yourself up about computer/blogging know-how. I think everyone of a 'certain age' finds it hard going if they're honest.
The younger generations now have a tremendous advantage over us in that they have 'computer skills' taught them at school. We have had to figure it all out for ourselves - so that makes us smarter - right ??

    1. That is the truth! I guess that would make us smarter! :) I'm really tickled to know what little I do.

  10. Happy Birthday Eli!! I don't do Google Plus or circles and I don't visit bloggers that do it is too complicated. Google was just trying do do a Facebook type thing....it is a horrible platform that I have steered clear of:)

    1. I'm glad to hear that. From what little I've seen of Google+ it reminds me of Facebook.

  11. Wow a year old already! What a BIG difference a year makes. Do you think he is finished growing?

    1. Yes! Didn't that year go by fast! I've heard that dogs grow until they are 18 months old. I'll ask the vet tomorrow. Smokey has an appointment. :)

  12. How times flies, and oh, how cute he was. I haven't bothered with google + or circles, well I don't know what they are, and everything seems to work fine enough for me:)

  13. Henny don't feel bad. I'm not computer savy! I have to always rely on my daughter for help when things get confusing. But look at it this way. We can turn on the computer and go to many different sites. And you have a blog! That's a big deal. Gee, years ago I didn't even know how to turn on the computer. So I figure I'm doing pretty good and you are amazing with your computer!
    Hugs,

    1. Darlene, thank you. You're so right! I never thought I would be able to do anything on the computer, so having my blog is a big deal. My daughters help me a lot too. :)

  15. What a lucky dog! Never thought of holding a candle with a bone for our doggie, but might try it. Probably with some biscuits. Eli is just the best, and it has been fun to watch him get big, and bigger! Don't worry about your computer skills, I am 100% sure that you type waaay faster than I do, and all that other stuff is just confusion.
    Happy Birthday Eli!
