No matter how many times Poppy says he is done building stuff around here...he ends up with a hammer in his hand, finishing up what I start. Actually, I was pretty proud of my work on the rabbit hutch. Even Poppy said he was impressed. Together we finished it...
And, Bun Bun is in his new home, inside the goat's lot...
Also, most of the trim on the back of the house is finished. Poppy, bless his heart, finished up those high spots. Yeah, I was supposed to get that done on Saturday but something kept telling me to stay off the top of that ladder. Now it's that faded old fascia board that ruins the look. We will get to that soon. And the pitiful looking bushes on the right were once big beautiful sweet smelling Gardenias. The unusually cold winter was very hard on them. These are slowly beginning to come back. And the sunflower...
Wait, here's a better shot...
As mama used to say, it volunteered and came up...and what a perfect spot.
On to the teeny tiny garden. We could really use a shower of rain along about now...
The bean vines have almost covered the little wattle fence...and the one eggplant looks like it might survive...
Time to start supper...AGAIN! Thank you for visiting.
Love,
Henny Penny
