Dear friends,
Remember back in July when I wrote the post, "Tears, Tears, and more Tears"? That was the same day my little bantam rooster Popeye fell over dead, and a day after losing Olive and their baby chick, Sweet pea. That same day I found that tiny sick kitten near a tree in our front yard. Someone had thrown out a mother cat and her tiny baby kittens. Well I had some good news today. News I can hardly wait to share with you.
Kristine and Robert, the sweet sweet couple who adopted that tiny sick kitten stopped by. They wanted us to see the kitten now...
Her name is Sadie Sue. Isn't she precious? This kitty suffered and I will never understand how it made it into our yard. Robert and Kristine told us the kitten had cuts on two of it's little feet and the cuts were so infected there were maggots inside. Sadie Sue loves her new home and stays cuddled up to Robert most of the time, according to Kristine. This kitty deserves a good loving home.
I've said it before and will say it again, "I hope people who abuse animals and those who throw animals out by the road sides to suffer and die, will one day get what they deserve."
I am still waiting to hear from the company that makes that chick starter feed. I was feeding the little bantam family this feed when they died suddenly. I called the company a couple of weeks ago and was told they are still waiting to hear from the lab.
Oh my gosh! It's bedtime. Poppy is sitting in front of the TV asleep! All the animals are lying here and there asleep. Better get busy! Thank you for visiting!
Love,
Henny

Sadie Sue is precious, Henny. I love to hear happy endings for these poor little darlings. I, too, hope that those who inflict pain and suffering on animals get theirs in the end. Deb
