Our little Halloween kitty cat...
Maybe we should have named him Spooky...
Not really. He is such a sweety pie. The leaves are falling now...
Where have two days gone? Guess I've been too busy to notice. I did get a lot done today...got five more metal T-post into the ground for the donkey lot. Then started cleaning out from under the shed where Poppy parks the four-wheeler and riding mower. Half of that shed would make a good little donkey barn...I dare not mention that right now though. :)
Saturday I was out standing and staring at the stuff under the shed. I said to Poppy, we could make five hundred dollars if we sold all this stuff we don't use. He said, go for it! So, with a bucket of warm soapy water and an old rag, I single handedly pulled out and scrubbed an aluminum dog box that goes on the back of a pick-up truck, a large aluminum dog feeder, an old 7-speed bicycle, a good running push mower that has no back wheels, and a nice wood and metal trailer...
The dog feeder sold immediately after putting it on Craigs List.
Can you see the metal T-posts across the back? That will be the end of the lot. Things are coming right along. Oh, this is the wood trailer. Sorry about the flat tire...
All the animals are waiting to be put to bed and Poppy is asleep in front of the television...giving me a few minutes at the computer.
All the baby guineas are alive and well. Also thank you for the comments on my last post...comments I haven't had time to reply to. Also, little Smokey is sleeping safely at night on the enclosed front porch with Eli and Weetie. Thank you for visiting. Hope to be back soon.
Love,
Henny

Love that little Smokey. Glad to hear he is safe and sound at night. Your photos of the leaves are beautiful. Deb
ReplyDeleteThank you Deb. I'm loving little Smokey too.
DeleteMust be so satisfying to make a bit of money on the hidden stash of useable objects in that shed! Could this happen in my garage? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteThere are no little donkeys in my future, but I would love to smooth out the concrete floor of the garage and have the cracks and crunchy stuff gone. That little grey kitty is so precious, I love that Eli is his/her friend. You are having a very pretty fall, the purple flowers amongst the leaves are lovely.
Hey Pam! It is! I sold the bike this morning and have three people wanting the trailer. Isn't there always something we would love to add or repair or change. Dan says I am always wanting something but life would be mighty dull just to leave everything the same! :)
DeleteLooks like great stuff to sell! You go gal! Your Smokey is awfully cute, good to hear that the babies are okay:)
ReplyDeleteThank you! It must be. I've had lots of calls and emails!
DeleteHope you manage to sell all your stuff, such a great idea to get rid of what you don't use.
ReplyDeleteI know, and besides making a little money, I love cleaning out.
DeleteThe third picture is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJane x
Thank you Jane. I just love the colors this time of the year.
DeleteI always enjoy checking in to see what's happening there.
ReplyDeleteAnd what's better? The found money from selling things you aren't using, or getting them out of the way?
That's right, both! Seems there is always something happening here! :)
DeleteOh, my! I think I must be friends with that kitty of yours. He's the same gorgeous colour as my house bunny. They'd make a matched pair...bookends! :) Good luck with everything on Craig's list.
ReplyDeleteHe is the color of, is it "Lavender". Your bunny is beautiful. They would make a matched pair.
DeleteYes! You have a good memory. :-)
DeleteIt's surprising the amount of stuff we have that we don't use. Somebody else wants . Most things sell very quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing. I'm getting calls on everything except the mower.
DeleteI wonder how many donkeys your sales will buy . . . . Smokey is so precious.
ReplyDeleteProbably not even one, but my part of the money will buy some posts. :)
DeleteI love your sweet Smokey. I sometimes wish someone would drop a kitten off at my house or a puppy or both!! I have hinted to friends to drop one off half way up my drive way but no luck. Oh well maybe one day I will have another pet.
ReplyDeleteLove you
Oh, and we get all the drop-offs! Wish we lived closer. I would drop one out for you. Keep wishing. Love you.
