A big thank you!

Thank you dear friends! Your  kind and funny and  sweet and understanding comments on my peanut brittle post, made my day. I appreciate you all so much.

This note of appreciation was meant for yesterday, along with a little post, but there wasn't much else to talk about except maybe the weather.

These warm spring-like days suit me just fine...and each day brings us closer to spring.

The bright warm sunshine on the back porch was definitely enticing. Of course, all the animals felt the same way. Bickett was there first, then along came Eli, the big furry throw, who politely nudged Bickett off the bed.

Fine! said Bee. I'll just have another bite to eat.

me too, said Smokey.

Just set foot inside the laundry room and the cats come running...assuming I am there to pop the top on another can.

Poppy says I have them spoiled.

Have I told you before how much Bickett loves Poppy? Well, he does. Bickett doesn't like most folks and will bite, if you pet him and linger too long. Poppy says, Bickett, you want to play? Bickett runs under the stool and with his back feet, pushes himself out to hand fight with Poppy.

I've simply got to get busy. Poppy just backed the truck in the driveway with two bales of hay to unload. I really need to be out there for things to run smooth. :) you know, kind of like Poppy helping me with the peanut brittle.

Thank you.

Love,
Henny

  2. Nothing like having a snack and laying in the sunshine. I don't know if I like to help or just tell him/whoever what to do.

  11. Bickett and Smokey spoiled? No way ( grin). Your animals all get so well loved and cared for.
Just looking at that sunshine on your porch made me want Spring to come NOW. Tomorrow I'm going to the store to look for Primroses. I know I'll have to keep them inside but they'll make me happy.

  15. Thank you for the laugh your comment about Poppy helping with the peanut brittle brought me...and that sweet story and picture about Beckett and Poppy hand fighting. I love hearing about the goings on around your little farm with all the animals you keep. Or...do they keep you?

  16. Sweet Kitties they are so pretty. The sun has felt good. I am kind of ready for spring myself even though I love a good snow. I don't know why I love snow so much I don't get to play in it like when I was a kid but I guess it is the memories of playing in it that makes me love it. I love summer also great childhood memories of swimming and playing in the water. Don't get to do that much anymore either. Oh well Life is Good!

    Love you bunches.

  20. Such cute animals. It's funny how Bickett has trained Poppy to play his game. Bob the Border Collie's favorite game is, offer her ball and then as soon as you creep up close enough to grab it, she takes off with for a victory lap. Not so fun for the humans!
