So far, so good!

Thought you would like to know.

We have the six foot side section up! The ten foot section will go across the back...there behind the potting bench.

This work is hard. Poppy does the hammering, sawing, drilling , etc., but I run my legs off, going for things he needs.

At one point I had been around the house and down near the pond to our stash of old boards and building supplies, looking for one more 4 x 4 post, which I found. Sweating, and lugging the heavy post up to the building site, I said to Poppy...

"I know one thing! Being the gopher is just about as much work as being the builder"!  Poppy said, "yes, but if it wasn't for the gopher, we wouldn't be doing all this"!  :)

Hopefully, tomorrow we will get the back section up and the playhouse will be done! I can move in!  :)

Thank you for visiting and for all your encouraging words.

Love,
Henny

Old sweet Eli still has his white eye lashes.

  4. What a couple of sweeties you have! The one sleeping and the other one that's plugging away on that playhouse. It's looking good around your place, Henny. Be careful of your back.

  14. Many times being the 'go fer' is more work than being the boss! That first panel looks great. And from the previous post, your garden looks great too. Look at how far along your vegetables are, wow! It has been so cold and wet here the vegetable garden is on pause, but now finally we are getting some warm and sunny weather, but oh, where to start, and the weeds are a mile high....

  18. I think the efforts of the gopher are under appreciated! It has been my main job in life, starting with my dad. You two sure do accomplish a lot on your little farm and always something new in progress. I had to laugh at Poppy's comment. You do have lots of ideas, Henny! (all good ones of course.)

  19. Poppy's right those gophers can create a lot of havoc.

Glad that at least one portion of the fence is in place. It looks great. You should enlist someone else to help with the bigger one. Man if that fell on someone it wouldn't be a positive thing for sure.
