We have a name!

Bun Bun (Dad)

Penny (Mom)

I sure meant to get back here yesterday, but had a dozen things to do.

After finishing the usual morning stuff; feeding animals, making the bed, putting dishes away,  cleaning out litter boxes, and sweeping, I got myself halfway decent and drove to Henderson. Poppy had prescriptions ready to pick up. Went from there on to buy groceries, then to the feed store.

Anyhow, you know how that goes...get home with a load of groceries and feed, and it's like fighting fire with gasoline to get things unloaded and put away, and then there's supper to cook.

"Chief, Son of Bun"

There were more comments and more bunny names to add to the list...some very cute names...

Sunflower, Sunny, Chief Thumpalot, Braveheart, & Karrot

But, the name that has stuck with me and makes me smile every time I say it, is..."Chief, Son of Bun".  There were others who commented that this name made them laugh. So, thank you Bonnie! It's perfect!

Thank you all! I appreciate your friendship so much. I will be around to visit and catch up.

Love,
Henny

  4. His name suits him. I wonder if you'll actually call him that though. I find with Cinnamon Bun when I come to feed her I'm just calling her Bunny. These days she wants me to bring her some of her special treats and if I don't she pushes at my hand like she's saying Come On, where have you got them!!

  9. Great choice, it rolls off the tongue more easily than my favourite did. And what with his daddy being Mr. Bun Bun., it's much more suitable!

  13. That was the one I would have picked, too . . . so cute and original. The chores of everyday life can totally steal our days away can't they? I avoid going to town and shopping whenever I can. Crowds and standing in line just aren't my think. Here's to a day filled with sunshine and all the pleasures of home :)

  22. Do you find, when you head into town, that you try to make as many stops as you can, you know, to make your trip worthwhile? Exhausting isn't it! ;-) I think you chose a good name! Is he definitely a 'he'? I think I've heard that rabbits can be difficult to sex..

  24. That's a great name!! For some reason it always makes me think of cinnamon buns, or maybe honey buns. Hey - if you ever have a little girl rabbit who needs a name ... Honey Bun!!! :)

Running errands. Well, they do wear you out, even if you've been looking forward to doing them. I think I had more energy for errands when I was a younger woman. Not now!
