More beach and a little news

Don't know who's feet these prints belong to, but it did make a neat picture.

Good grief, seems like everywhere there are little animals to worry about. We spotted at least three birds with one of their legs missing. This was the smallest of the birds and missing a little foot...

and another one on the far right...
The boy running in our direction with a handful of sand, scared the birds away.

both legs...just pretty!

Then there were the kitty cats that roamed from room to room at the motel...

This black kitty had a big fluffy tail.

and this cutie pie.

We climbed the sand dunes late Saturday after enjoying a big seafood dinner. Hopefully, we walked off a few calories...

and looking back...we only climbed half way up, darn it!

and in the big yellow shop below, Poppy agreed to smile for a picture...

Okay, I've been on the computer way too long!

I did want to mention, however,  that "Henny's Bonnet Shop", based in The Teeny Tiny Sewing Room, :) is now out there for the whole world to see. It has been fun thinking about all this.

Love,
Henny

  3. It looks as if the hotel cats are getting plenty to eat. I'm guessing you may have given them a nibble or two yourself! Wonderful news about getting your shop up and running. Will be checking it out. Your beach adventures make me want to book a few days and have some fun too.

  4. Looks like a parent and child footprint or a very poor fellow with very odd feet.

  6. Oh, I just looked at all the aprons and bonnets in your shop. You have been busy!! They are so lovely.

Poppy looks very cheery and relaxed in the picture. Kinda wish there would have been one of you, maybe in one of your nice outfits you got especially for this holiday!!

  7. I am so happy that you had a nice time on your trip to the beach. I am a little bit surprised that you didn't round up all those one legged birds and bring them home with you. You're such a sweetie, that I know you wanted to give them a good home :)

  8. It's interesting that you saw so many one-legged birds. In all our beach walks, I haven't seen a one! Stray cats always find me, too, wherever we are. I think I must smell like catnip or something. Those at your motel do look well taken care of, though.
How come we haven't seen any photos of Henny at the beach, huh???

  9. Loved the photos. You certainly had some pretty views. A seafood dinner is one of my favorites! Luckily, where I live I don't have to travel far for a good one. Love the footprints photo and feel so sorry for the little birds missing a leg.

  10. Hmm, glad I checked. I had written a comment yesterday, and I must have forgot to hit publish! Your aprons are lovely, I especially like the first one, very 'Fall'! I think your prices are very reasonable, probably too much so since you are making your own bias tape and that takes up a fair bit of fabric. I definitely think you need to charge for shipping though, or you just won't be making any money. Don't forget it takes time and materials to package things up and get them shipped off.
Sad to see the birds missing a leg, but they seem to be managing well.
