Your kind and thoughtful words have meant so much to us. I have read and shared every comment with Poppy. Thank you.
We sure miss our little Weetie and so does Eli. He looks at us both like we should find Weetie.
I know most all of you who read my blog love animals and have been through losing a beloved pet too. It is heartbreaking. I sure appreciate your friendship.
Love,
Henny
*hugs* ♥ God bless.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the pain of losing Wheetie is still very sharp. When Eli looks at you and you know he's asking where his pal is it must break your heart. Sending comforting thoughts your way, GM
ReplyDeleteIn time the memories will make you smile again instead of being sad. That's how I am now when I think of my SammyJo.
ReplyDeleteWe love you guys too, Henny. I think of you often and wonder how you're doing. It's so awful trying to get beyond the tragic loss of a beloved pet. You can't really get beyond it....but time helps to lessen the hurt a bit. Know that we understand what you're going through and if we could so something to help...we would. God bless you both and all your sweet pals who are wondering what happened to your little Weetie.
ReplyDeleteI have thought of you and Poppy every day. I do understand how very special Weetie was to you and I know the raw pain of losing such a special companion. In my mind the dear pets I have lost are still with me in my memory and in the love I shared with them. It takes time and patience but know the love you shared with Weetie will always be there in a good and healing way. I send you, Poppy and Eli my love and gentle hugs.
ReplyDeleteI thought my heart would break when my beloved Bud died a year and a half a go. He collapsed on bonfire night with all the fireworks going off and died in my arms. He had always been terrified of them and it was horrible that is what finally killed him. However this Mother's Day my children bought me a painting of him taken from a photo. I smile at it every time I walk by and I never thought I would be able to once. I really hope as time goes on the pain will lessen a bit and you will be able to smile when you think of Weetie. xx
ReplyDeleteGod bless1 God bless!x

ReplyDeleteWhen our dog Molly passed in 2018, our cats Max and Penelope looked and looked for Molly.
It is difficult.. I do understand.
Love, Carla
Weetie will not be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I have lost one of my beloved dogs, I say “I never want another dog.” (That’s from the book Lassie Come Home.) But, then along comes another dog and I fall head over hills in love again. We love you Henny! You are the best!

ReplyDeleteI have no words for it! I lost my puppy many years ago. It was the saddest day for me while I was setting in the fob key copying shop and I heard this news from my mother on a phone.
