Sorry I am behind again. Has it really been almost four days! What a week!
Today I cleaned house. Really cleaned! We have company coming for the weekend and my little sewing room needed to be turned back into a bedroom. Everything is put away. In fact, everything but the bedroom furniture is packed into the closet. It's amazing how much will fit into a closet.
Before closing the doors I added a little more.
Shazam! We have a clean bedroom!
Even cleaned out the old wardrobe and added a few wooden hangers.
Now, as mama would say, I am simply worn out. The rest of the house had to be cleaned too.
How the kitchen looks when I'm cooking supper. :) I wouldn't have it any other way!
Here it is bedtime! Better get all the critters all settled in for the night. :)
Love,
Henny
I am wore out to!! Hope you have a great weekend!! Love you to the moon and back!
ReplyDeleteI hope your guests will appreciate all the work you've done getting ready for them. It looks great!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the kitchen photo. So cute. Have fun with your company. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteClosets can hold an amazing amount of things! LOL What a lovely guest room you have. Nancy
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a crew you have waiting for dinner!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your guests will love that sweet bedroom.
Hi there. Your guest room is picture perfect and all ready. I hope you have a wonderful time with your company... :)
ReplyDeleteYou got a lot done in one day's cleaning. Now can you come over to my house and clean it up, lol? Have a great weekend with your visitors. I'm sure they will enjoy staying in your guest room.
ReplyDeleteYour guests should be most comfortable. That is a great closet where you can put all your sewing things out of sight. I need one of those! So sweet how the four-legged family members gather in the kitchen with the cook. It looks like they are keeping an eye out for what's for dinner. I do hope you enjoy your company.
ReplyDeleteThat's it! I need a closet in the sewing room, on second thought s better not. I would feel obliged to buy more to fill it. Your fabric stash looks enticing, I could feel my fingers itching to rummage through the treasure.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine just how "worn out" you are! I've been doing the same thing!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace
It's good to have company come, I get a little slack with housekeeping in the summer, that is till we have company and then I clean up a storm. The room looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had better get the staff trained, and stop letting them lay around on the job!:)
ReplyDeleteLucky you having all that company in the kitchen! Your sewing room looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking closet! I do the same thing with my desk, clear it off before company comes:)
ReplyDeleteIt's good that we have company now and then, isn't it. I do the same thing clean like crazy and get rid of tons of stuff that has "just settled" when company is in the offing. It looks wonderful but keeping things that way afterward just never seems to happen.
ReplyDeleteYou really did clean! Great job. I love that last shot with all the animals. They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteIt always feels so good to really clean things up, but when you start sewing, I'm sure you will be pulling it all back out. Your dogs are so cute . . . my Butchy is my kitchen helper, too. If it hits the floor and it's not a pickle or an onion . . . Butchy cleans it right up :) Have a great time with your company.
ReplyDeleteConnie :)
Your sheers remind me of my grandmother's house -- I love that look. I'm going to have to figure out where I can put some!
ReplyDeleteWow- you have a good system for storing all of your craft works! Looks like all your critters are watching for their own dinner to be served.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, and I hope you have a nice visit with your company.
I cracked up at all your "friends" waiting for something to drop in the kitchen. Your magical closet trick really worked...spic and span. Hope the visitors don't open the closet door!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I miss you. :) Your Gur.
