Earlier in the year I did make a persimmon/peach jam from some cheap persimmons I froze from last year. I'd certainly be buying those bags of pulp for $2.50! Maybe the persimmons we see have been shipped from your area, because I know they don't grow around here! I had never even heard o...I love persimmon pudding! I had never even heard of it until we moved to NC and there was lady at my church who brought hers to church potlucks. I hadn't had any in so long until one of our recent patients at the clinic brought us some one day. My son in TN has a huge persimmon tree in his yard and he even tried his hand at making a pudding...and it must have been good because they all gobbled it up! Whether yours wasn't quite up to par by your standards, it surely looks beautiful! It would be nice to try sometime. Yes the days are going by so fast...at least the hours of daylight. Except for the holidays, I don't like this time of year much because of so much darkness. By the time we get around to groundhog day, I feel like we're making progress going the other way...but we've got quite awhile before then. Stay warm inside....here we've got winter already and everything is white and icy. I worry about slipping and falling so have to be careful where and when I go out.
