Thank you...I feel like I might have be...Dear Jen,

Thank you...I feel like I might have been on a long trip somewhere!!! The days go by so fast!! You are right about "the One who keeps us", and I am very thankful for that. We do miss the dogs. I'm hoping to get another (or 2) big dog. I felt safer, even in the garden, with a big dog along.

Love,
Henny Henny Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05958386938311591314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541568171657986.post-80311924291865863592013-06-20T13:59:14.141-07:002013-06-20T13:59:14.141-07:00Dear Terry,
Sure made me happy to hear from you!!...Dear Terry,

Sure made me happy to hear from you!! I'm thinking 2 dogs too!!:) Dan (Poppy) keeps saying he is just not ready yet. It takes so long to get over losing a pet and we had to go through it with all these. Losing Nikki hurt most, I think, because he was so alert and happy, but had a tumor on his spine. We took care of Nikki until he could no longer stand up, then we knew it was time. We sure loved them all though. I kind of want a big chocolate lab and Dan talks about a black lab.

Love,
Henny Henny Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05958386938311591314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541568171657986.post-24727093267908109912013-06-19T13:17:53.472-07:002013-06-19T13:17:53.472-07:00Dear Henny,

The pic of Poppy and all the dogs is so very special. Lots of love in that picture. Oh my! I'm sure you do miss them all.
Glad you weathered the storm just fine. When I was a kid, a tornado came through and wiped out half of the metropolis where my grandparents lived. That same year we had a flood. Needless to say, I take the weather seriously to this very day.
We must remember that the One who keeps us is an ever present help in time of trouble.

Time truly does fly by....
Love,
Jen Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541568171657986.post-21227754357736197092013-06-19T10:30:09.903-07:002013-06-19T10:30:09.903-07:00Dear Henny! You will feel safer and give a dog a life of Riley there, no one could be happier than a dog living there. You won't run off to the hospital in a storm with a dog by your side - well, um, unless you take the dog too! Stay safe, we have had storms here too, take care - Maybe 2 dogs? One each. Hmm.
