I see you are a sewer too, but your fabric stash is much much neater than mine:)Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938874724231860923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541568171657986.post-3224967177002255702013-10-19T05:03:50.778-07:002013-10-19T05:03:50.778-07:00Dear Jen,

Andee loves quilting and has made several quilts and also quilts Christmas stockings. I should post about Andee. Jen, you are right about taking that creative "stand and stare", and that second cup of tea! I let my enjoyable crafting and sewing time turn into feeling like it was a job! That took all the fun away. Thanks for the good advice!

Love,
HennyHenny Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05958386938311591314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541568171657986.post-64752193239695031372013-10-18T11:45:14.977-07:002013-10-18T11:45:14.977-07:00Dear Henny,
The craft fair sounds like fun. Yo...Dear Henny,
The craft fair sounds like fun. Your things are delightful and full of whimsy. I especially like aprons and paper dolls. I see a 'Lynn Original' in the first photo. I have purchased many of her brooches and tags. They make great gifts and I like seeing them again when I visit a friend.
I got a kick out of you saying that some of those fabrics are too ugly to use!! Hee-hee, and yet, someone else will see it and be grabbed by that very one! Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. :-
For your information, creative people, such as yourself, dear daughter Lynn, (maybe Andy too, I don't know) and many of your readers, too much route productivity can be harmful to your creativity!! There. No you know. Sometimes you must take a creative 'Stand and stare'. Survey the scene before making a move. Take a mental snapshot of the beauty of the moment. Have that second cup of tea. Call your sister. Yessirreee, you better believe that these are the secrets to keeping creativity alive and well in the soul of the Artist.

With love,
JenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-971541568171657986.post-44278803149598208042013-10-17T04:48:11.802-07:002013-10-17T04:48:11.802-07:00Thank you, Wean. I do not know how you do it all, crafting, cleaning house, planting and harvesting, chasing the ducks and others, where do you get all that energy! Organizing all that cloth! I used to say "Lawsy, Granny, you are working me to death!" when she would drag out the sewing machine and patterns and material, but once we got going, it was no big deal. I guess that is how you do it too! I would love for you take some pictures of your craft fair adventures and if Lynn goes, some of her too! I love the paper dolls, they seem like they would make a nice tree garland as well. All of it is lovely, I just think you can do anything you set your mind too...XO TerryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
